Neighborhood Program
The Neighborhood Program is an Outreach Program in which AFY Social Workers go into the communities and work with adolescents labeled as “gang members." The students are taken on activities once a week, in which the responsibilities of planning the activities are left to the group members. During the process of the activities, counseling is always provided to address issues dealing with families, alcohol and drug abuse, violence, education, relationships, and anything else that the students find is an obstacle in their lives.

Once rivals, these former AFY clients have a mainland reunion and share the re-direction of their lives as husbands, fathers, and contributing members of society.
